OUR STORY
Pirrone Brothers started in 1947 by Rosario Pirrone and his brother Sam, who through many tough years, grew sugar cane in the Burdekin region in North Queensland, Australia. The Pirrone Brothers name was then carried on by Ross Wayne Pirrone and his brothers Michael, Glen and Frank, who continued the tradition of growing sugar cane and expanded production over the years.
It wasn’t until 2012 that Pirrone Brothers diversified into vegetable crops. Ross Shane, Josh & Chris, sons of Ross Wayne Pirrone, took great enjoyment out of the initial work and results and decided to pursue a life in vegetable growing. To this day, the brothers pride themselves on delivering you top quality vegetables with a great deal of passion and effort. Pirrone Brothers now grow multiple vegetable lines such as zucchini, eggplant, capsicum and cucumber, and look to develop great relationships with their customers and local community.
